The main research activities of the Research Area in Mathematical Analysis are represented by the use of the homogenization theory for the study of the physical and mechanical properties of porous media and composite materials and of the subsequent application to mathematical models of diffusion and conductivity.

Research lines

Homogenization, asymptotic behaviors, partial derivative equations, mathematical methods for the treatment and analysis of time series
